The concept of pre-cooked, ready to eat spaghetti squash that could seamlessly replace traditional pasta seemed to good to be true. And to make the concept even better, it’s all made from upcycled food – produce that might otherwise have been discarded. AND it’s better for you, AND it tastes amazing. Enough Already.

The name was the first challenge – we needed an easy way to convey the most recognizeable usage occasion, then we needed to have the packaging tell the story as well. When the time came to launch and support, we needed to convey it’s appetite appeal, health benefits, and culinary versatility. And at the trade level, we had a compelling upcycled and socially responsible sourcing story. From the producers in the field, to the trade to the end consumer, it has proven to be a resounding success.

Virtuous products like this are such fun. The only thing we didn’t give it that it deserves is a merit badge.
